How minutes work
1 minute = 1 minute of finished video you export.
Only the video you actually export counts — a 3-minute demo uses about 3 minutes. Fix a word and export again and it's free: each video only ever counts once, at its longest. Everything else — uploading, recording, editing the script, re-recording narration, trimming, previewing, downloading — doesn't use any of your minutes. Your free trial includes 20 exported minutes, and they never expire.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as an exported minute?
Only finished video you export. A 3-minute video you export uses 3 minutes. Re-exporting the same video after edits is free — you're only ever charged for the longest version of each video, once. Uploading, editing, re-recording narration and previewing never use minutes.
What happens when I hit my limit?
Nothing disappears. Everything you've made stays viewable, editable and downloadable — you just can't upload new videos, record new narration, or export new video until you pick a plan (or, on paid plans, your minutes reset).
Do plan minutes roll over?
Your 20 free trial minutes never expire — there's no time limit. On paid plans, minutes reset monthly and don't roll over.
What's the refund policy?
Purchases are non-refundable as standard, and you can cancel any time so you're never billed again — your plan then runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. If a charge looks wrong, email us and we'll review it individually. That's why the trial is 20 free minutes with no card: try the whole thing before you pay anything.
What about VAT and sales tax?
Checkout and taxes are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Prices shown include VAT where it applies, and Paddle takes care of collecting and remitting tax worldwide.
